A tour of romanesque churches will take you around the whole of the Marsanne plain.
The first church, Saint Didier at Les Tourrettes, can be found just off the Montelimar North exit from the A7 autoroute.
To reach the second, take the picturesque Condillac road. Marsanne's Saint Felix church is above the old village, with its attractive narrow streets.
From Marsanne, the road to Cléon d'Andran leads to the third church, Saint Jean Baptise at Charols.
From there, a few minutes' drive brings you to Notre Dame church in Bonlieu.
The best has been left till last. Saint Marcel church is, in the view of experts, the finest example of romanesque architecture in the Marsanne country.
